September Visits!!

We just moved into our new place in time to welcome a string of guests – lots of good times to be had in this city : )! My cousin Lisa came out at the beginning of the month with two of her friends, Shawn and Stacey from Pheonix. We had a great time visiting the wonderfully pretty city of Bath, the Stonehenge and took in The Lady in White musical.

Their trip intersected with a visit from Elliot and Lina from Vancouver and we a full house for a few days! We watched the Producers with Lina and Elliot and enjoyed some “Pim” nights, in particular our last night at the Canadian Maple Leaf bar where we are entertained by a hilarious dude from Spain who was celebrating a promotion as the manager of the restaurant across the street. He informed us that Canadians really needed to apologize for Brian Adams and then proceeded to admire Lina’s cheekbones and Steve’s air guitar. By the end of the night it was all hugs, kisses and an invite for dinner at his restaurant. Too funny!

In between the visits I learned that my cousin Nikki, who I have not seen since she was like 5? And who’s working as an OT up north was in town, so of course we met up with her for some good eating! The month ended with a short visit from my cousin Ellena, her husband Paolo and their friend Derek. With them we did lots of shopping (yay!), but not much purchasing (on my side anyway!) and went to see We Will Rock You – a musical based on the music of Queen. Never knew that Queen sung all those songs!! It was a great show!
